The studio
About the cutter
Each stone in the collection is cut by hand, from the first study of the rough to the final polish.
One stone at a time
Every piece of rough is studied, cut and polished by hand, and each finished stone is examined before it is offered.
Working this way is slow by design. It allows each stone to be cut for its own color and character rather than to a fixed template.
The craft
Faceting is learned slowly, one stone at a time. Angles, polish and proportion are refined with every piece.
The workshop
The work is done at a faceting machine, with a set of laps and polishes and good light.
Each step, from rough to finished stone: the faceting process.

Finished stones are offered in the collection. Stones cut to order begin with a conversation.
